I actually had someone ask me why I like Baron Zemo (Thunderbolts Zemo, not the original) so much. Not on this forum but on an IRC channel. Regardless I thought it would be appropriate here to list a limited series that is incredibly recent. So it's very accessible, and tells alot about the past history of the Zemo family. The original Zemo was a great villain, if misguided. And if you take his mind-set and put it into someone (son) who retains such drive but is really not a bad person, you get a conflicted, but totally identifiable character.
So I beg you to read this:
Zemo: Born Better
It's only 4 issues, but it will tell you everything you need to know about Zemo and why you should care. Cuz I swear I got the feeling that he's gonna play a big part in the Marvel U soon. Don't know when really, I just get the feeling they are setting him up that way.
I'm probably wrong about that. But it doesn't change the fact that the above series is awesome and the character is one of the better developed characters in comics right now.
So read it. If it even MILDLY intrigues you I suggest you read the earlier issues of Thunderbolts. Cuz they set the whole basis for the character and make him "real".

If it makes you feel any better the image of Osbourne spanking Venom in a sexual way (or any way for that matter) makes me ill too. In fact, I would hope it would make everyone sick. The fact it came from yer mind and not mine is the only plus I can walk away with hahahaha.
Thunderbolts is freakin' awesome and has been forever. I love that book. Brilliant writing. And its ties to Initiative is intriguing. Since Civil War it's been good, even though they changed the direction of it. But in a good way as long as they answer a few questions (Zemo).
It's really picking up now, what with the the whole Skrull Invasion. Can't wait to see how it plays out.
I said it on this forum once, and ill say it again, Zemo is awesome and I miss him on the Thunderbolts. So I hope he makes a major, heroic comeback during the Skrull-war. The story is ripe for his return.

Thunderbolts #119 was good. I've never read much of Warren Ellis' work. Turns out he's pretty good. Plus, I've always liked Mike Deodato's art. I think I remember his work from Spider-Man. Now I have to read the next one to see what Norman Osborn is going to do about the situation on Thunderbolts Mountain.
Kind of reminds me of a song I heard, "I ain't going down on Brokeback Mountain..." by the saddle sores.
To be as politically correct as possible, they are planning on releasing a movie called Brokeback Thunderbolts Mountain, by the way. Venom and Osborn take a trip into the wilderness with nothing to do but rustle cattle...and go skinny dipping. Osborn finds he has a talent for spanking...and, Venom learns to yodel classic love songs such as "Let's get it on"...
Why did I have to write that? Now I feel kind of sick...
